Broadlands House and Estate

Set in the Test Valley at Romsey, Hampshire, Broadlands is the home of the Earl and Countess Mountbatten of Burma and their family. The Broadlands Estate covers some 4500 acres, much of which is open land dedicated to agriculture. The Estate is a local employer and both a residential and commercial landlord. Lady Mountbatten is the High Steward of Romsey. The River Test is an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and most of the land adjoining the 4 miles of river running through the Estate is managed as part of an Environmental Sensitive Area (HLS). Broadlands was the home of the 3rd Lord Palmerston -  Prime Minister, and The 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, Admiral of the Fleet and Viceroy of India.
