This year's Face of Dogstival is now closed. Thank you to everyone who entered. We LOVED looking at all the pictures.

It was a near impossible task with over 2,300 entries, but in the end one dog stole the hearts of the judging team at New Forest Cottages. 

CONGRATULATIONS TO BEAR THIS YEAR'S WINNER

The incredible Bear who proves you can have just as much fun on both paws and wheels! This beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog who will be two years old in June has had a ruff ride. 

At 4 months old he was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder that has caused his brain and spinal chord to shrink, giving him very similar symptoms to Wobblers Syndrome. Initially, given just weeks to live Bear continues to prove everyone wrong. With his two wheels and limited teeth (a calcium deficiency is part of his condition) his nicknamed is Gummy Bear. He’s been on many adventures thanks to his loving pawrents and continues to take life in his stride and is the happiest boy. He went to the Supervet (Fitzpatricks) at the beginning of this year and got his new wheels and been zipping around making new friends every day.
